These 394's...mine runs good when it runs. Starts cold fine. Sometimes when I shut it off and change bar and chain, it won't start. The only way it starts is holding it wfo (that's abitch with a 36 on it). I usually take the bar off so I can drop start it wide open. When it fires, it's not like it was flooded, it's clean and instantly goes to full rpm. Is this the known symptom of airlocking?

I was thinking coil, then I remembered the vapor lock stories. I might try a coil first. I think I have one. If that don't fix it, I'll just plan on having to restart it like that

Cool. Used to shoot a lot of 3D tournaments many years ago...still have about 8-10 McKenzie large/medium deer, bear, wild hog, bobcat, turkey targets in a shed that sits behind my shop in the backyard.
