A few of you guy know in a few weeks I'm headed down for my Grandpas WWII army reunion.
I never got to go when Grandpa & Grandma was alive as I always had to stay home and take care of the farm because my Mom & Dad would go with them in there later years.
This was one thing that I always wanted to do. This year Mom, Dad and I are going down for it.

I have been caring Grandpas patch in my wallet since I was around 14.

Crisp morning of 43 this morning. Fall is in the air...

Today will be a glorious day though. Mom's 85th birthday and then the Banjo Bowl CFL Football game against our arch rivals!!

@Red97 Joe, I'm sorry for your loss. My Gramps has been gone since 82 and I often think of him and the things he taught me in our short time together. It hurts now but in a short while it will bring a smile to your face every time you think of him, the things you did, time you spent together and everything he ever taught you. He's in a pain free place now and will always be watching over the family making sure everyone is safe.
