A few of you guy know in a few weeks I'm headed down for my Grandpas WWII army reunion.
I never got to go when Grandpa & Grandma was alive as I always had to stay home and take care of the farm because my Mom & Dad would go with them in there later years.
This was one thing that I always wanted to do. This year Mom, Dad and I are going down for it.

I have been caring Grandpas patch in my wallet since I was around 14.

Enjoy, that's what family is about! I'm sure your proud of your grandpa and I want to say that I'm thankful for him and his service to our great country.

Back when I was racing, I stopped by a friend's shop........I think I was after a TH350 case. He had a Hemi Cuda in there with several bullet holes in the ass end. It was used to run one load of moonshine, almost caught, then hidden in a barn in a stack of square bales........for decades. I was lusting that day too.

Step Grandfather is not doing well, in the last couple months. Both legs taken below the knee due to gang green/diabetes. Went on dialysis for kidney failure, and had a blockage in his heart. One leg never healed right, just took it above the knee wensday. Hasn't woke up sense. Docs don't imagine he will make it long.. All started from a nick on his toe this spring.

Nothing I can do but hope for the best whatever that may be.
