Step Grandfather is not doing well, in the last couple months. Both legs taken below the knee due to gang green/diabetes. Went on dialysis for kidney failure, and had a blockage in his heart. One leg never healed right, just took it above the knee wensday. Hasn't woke up sense. Docs don't imagine he will make it long.. All started from a nick on his toe this spring.

Nothing I can do but hope for the best whatever that may be.

That is some really serious stuff going on at yours my friend my thoughts are with you at this time.Something so small like a nick can cause all of this very sad indeed

I may even see the planes you work on if they fly into "Fairford" in the UK. I often see the planes as im within 20 miles as the crow flies. B 52's are here at the moment i think.

Many of the fleets C-17's have been there...joint exercises/cargo/re-fuel, etc, etc.

Sorry to hear that Joe.
I was very close with my Grandpa and it tough to see them go. He's been gone since 97' and there is hardly a day goes by that I don't have something pop into my mind about him.
I'll keep ya in my thoughts Bud.
