If you are using Chrome, there's an extension you can enable. I added it this morning and it works like a champ.

It's called 'Removes Tamboola'. Tamboola is an advertising service that pays site's owners to have the ads on the forum.

It really works Ray. If you try to Google search Taboola, it will block your search. It works on many sites.

I'm not sure about the impact but that was frustrating, so I can see people being deterred by it.

I researched it and it says Taboola pays to be on sites. I'm guessing in the back office of the site, the web designers can add ads. Probably very easy to do by mistake?

I tried to google it and was blocked. Didn't really like that as I wanted to read about this aggressive company that left cookies on my computer. CC cleaner removes all the hidden cookies including flash cookies like pininterest uses.
