You guy's have one of these ?
Might get one or a commander after i sell some stuff
convert

Or a rock river or dan wesson
Lot's of good 1911s out there

I have one. Excellent firing gun.

Contact Colt, they bought back all of the Marine Corps issued M45A1 pistols and were selling them for good prices. These are used guns and most were utilized in combat. We were given the opportunity to purchase the serial number we were issued as a token of appreciation. I don’t know if there are any left, I saw a bunch on GunBroker for astronomical prices.

Morning everyone!

Any of you guys use or recommend a shoulder holster?
I'm looking for a leather one.

Shoulder holsters are frowned upon by a vast majority of people. Most shoulder holsters orient the weapon towards the rear instead of straight down. These means anyone behind you is being ‘flagged’ by the muzzle. We weren’t allowed to use them in mil service unless they pointed straight down, and the older 1911 style holsters don’t accept the M9 platform very well. IIRC pilots were issued several different chest holsters to leave the sidearm in an accessible position.

Just food for thought.

I wouldn't want one that isn't pointing down.
The main reason im thinking about one is just for winter.
I think it would be easier to get too. Than a hip holster that is buried under a ton of clothes.
