Yup, Everstart Maxx is the one that lasts best, plow truck drivers all swear by them with all the power they use in the cold running the hydro pumps and lights and what not.

All of them that I have ever seen inside an enclosed compartment has a vent of some sort. It's either in the compartment or maybe on the battery itself

The Maxx are good, along with any other battery that says Gold on it. Napa Gold. Diehard Gold, the Parts Plus house battery has a gold model also, can't remember the name of it.

"Get you an Everstart and get on down da road!!" Some of the best batteries to be had are the ones Wally World sells oddly enough. Every battery has a vent on it somewhere.

My wife had an 89 GMC van that I put a wally world battery in. I never had to buy another battery for it. It had a three year warranty on it and it always quit before three years was up. They would replace it free with a new waranty. Would've been great but it was a *b-word to change.
