Evening all. Made it through the day. Have 2 more cars to try and boost again in the morning that just wouldn’t go today.

Anyone ever hear of putting a battery in the trunk? BMW X3...

BMW is famous for remote locating batteries. Behind the passenger front tire, under the back seat and in the trunk.

I haven't looked at newer ones, but they use to put terminals for jump starting under the hood.

Anything with Gore-Tex is pretty good. eBay.co.uk has quite a few work gloves with Goretex.

Jumper cables today aren't what they used to be. I remember Dad having a set that were like arc welding cable and they worked really well. Nowadays they're made from speaker wire

I concur. I made my own out of 00 cable, 20 feet long with good quality clamps. Have used them to jump all sorts of vehicles and engines.

I have a set I made out of welding cable .not sure of the size . Best I've ever used.
