I lucked out this year. My wife has been super busy and has had no time to go out. So she ordered almost everything off of Amazon.

She said the other night that that's going to be the way she shops for Christmas for here on out

^^^this. Online sales is the way to go. Fighting the public and paying local sales tax is BS

As someone that relies on people making local purchases for a living I cannot like this.

I do my fair share of online shopping but whenever I can get something locally I try too.

I'll go local if I can. But this time of year, fighting the crowds. Standing next to some family who's crumb crunchers are snotting all over their face and then touching everything they can. I prefer staying home.

Around here there is very few "small" local stores. Unless your into artsy stuff.


I'd rather get my kids their legos and toys online instead of a Walmart, target etc.

It was some sarcastic banter with Genius, I buy locally when I can but avoid WM and the box stores if possible. The main thing is that most things I purchases besides groceries arent available locally. Small town.
