Been all over the this country and have some of the best friends in the world in other places. They will still be your friends even if you don't see each other every day. Sometimes the bond is stronger than family, so I understand your dilemma.

I was telling another fella the other day that I moved on the average of every 3-4 years since I was 16. Greece has been my home for the longest period since then.

Living in Mississippi, Florida, Utah, Wyoming, Italy, New Mexico, Texas and Greece, I've been a bit of a nomad, but I've had great colleagues and friends in all those places.

I always hated to see them go, but friends find a way to close the distance. Not every move for me was the best, but I always tried to meet new folks and made the best of it while I was there.

Polar vortex has us locked and loaded now... -24f feels like -36 and wind is barely moving. Will warm up a touch to snow over the weekend but that is it for the next 10 days or so...

I think what you're referring to is the same thing, just the beginning stages of it. Damp areas seem to accelerate it. Not sure what to do to prevent it
