Seems like everything has been slow on this site for about a month now. Make a post and sometimes it takes 20 or 30 seconds for it to load. Not sure if it's my signal or what
Same thing here as well. I think the server is slacking again.

Takes that long to load a quote here.

Hola boys.

Just got done talking with a couple friends who i do saw work for on a pretty regular basis. They are beyond upset that we may be leaving the area. Most of the guys I help out know each other and several are family. They all got together and came up with a plan to section off a place in one guy’s shop and set me up a workshop. He has a 120’x70’ shop with heat and a/c, 18’ custom doors and power/air throughout as well as 2 lifts and more tools than I could ever hope to purchase. He wants to section off a 20x30 section and make a shop for me with whatever I want for benches and airdrops/power free of charge, if I don’t sell my house and leave.

It literally, and I mean it, hurts my heart. Having friends who don’t want us to leave that badly just hurts. I don’t even know what to say. I want to be close to family. Being away from family friends have become “family”. Man this sucks.

Can’t like that
Those kind of decisions are really tough [emoji15]

Its not easy, i’ll say that much.

It is 1,000% true that when you are away from family the friends you make become family. These are people who would drop anything and everything to help me out. During the hurricane when we evacuated they made trips over to check out my house and check on the neighbors who stayed multiple times a day. Hell, Travis’ daughter (15 years old) offered to stay in my house and “stand guard” for looters until we got back. When they need something i have always made sure I took care of them and it has been ‘no questions asked’ the same from them. I have helped with saws and other OPE as well as welding, fix equipment, harvested/hauled corn and crops, repair buildings/roofs, work on trucks or trailers, pick ip kids from school or sporting events when things popped up. They have helped with equipment, helped friends of mine, lent heavy equipment/trailers at no charge, looked after my property, looked after my wife and pets, lent tools, helped when I was recovering from surgeries. It has been a very even sided exchange.

I feel like I am turning my back on them by leaving, but they do understand. They don’t like it; but they understand. Its a rare “relationship” where you know you won’t be taken advantage of and they know you won’t take advantage of them. They really are like family.

I think this thread is overloaded. I do not have any trouble with doubles or slow loading in other threads...at least that I can remember. Lol
