That hyway kit runs good
It's hell on poplar.

Not much really. I have enough firewood for 5 years lol. Get tree work from time to time, but definitely not a daily deal.

Mornin' Saw Shoppers! High of around 50ish today...calling for midday rain. Sure did enjoy the sunshine this AM.

Found a few 288's at a local dealer. He proudly offers me all his tradeins now. Not bad for $100 each.

Ya'll have a good one.

Good morning Ray how is your daughters floor at the moment
Repaired the floor before she got home. Will check it in the spring during a hard rain to see if there is any leakage around the sliding glass door. This afternoon doing an oil change and trans fluid change on the Accord.

Question for you saw geeks...and I 'm sure this has been asked a many o' time before...

What's the difference between a black lever 028 AV Super and a red lever 028 AV Super? Trying to give a guy at work the right answer...

Stihl doesn't make any distinction of the lever that I know of, the saw did transition from points to electronic ignition and had a couple different carburators. Besides fifteen different names...wood boss etc.
Not sure how the lever fits into the timeline.
Maybe someone else noticed more along the way.

I'm not completely certain, but on some models, the red levers were the early models
