They change the standard very often on houses, clueless what type water pipe attachment they used in this house, the last time they swapped pipes

I ran a few house's in copper and steel pipe
Now the pex with compression fittings
Or sharkbite fittings.
Takes hour's instead of day's
To run it.
Don't miss sweating fittings together in a 20 inch crawlspace.

Sweating copper is going to be a lost art soon. I’ve been plumbing for 20 years now and while pex has its place I still prefer the old school sweating. Now with how these new homes are being thrown together so quick and limited on space for piping I do appreciate the pex.
