Water wasn't bad at all on my route home. These spotty storms are real wierd. There's flooding all around us but the stream down the road looks like it could handle a ton more water.

Sweating copper is going to be a lost art soon. I’ve been plumbing for 20 years now and while pex has its place I still prefer the old school sweating. Now with how these new homes are being thrown together so quick and limited on space for piping I do appreciate the pex. New construction or remodels.
He's been doing it since the late 80s
Teaches at a vocational school now.
My soldering is kinda sloppy lol
Hell they make auto soldering rigs
That does it now

I have my days when I get a little sloppy but I enjoy soldering and making it look good. I’m sure by the time I retire the new guys won’t even know what soldering is.

The street utility after the inspector cleared it.
It was chest high and when he unscrewed
The 6 inch cap
Gallons and gallons of piss knocked him off his feet lol

It is funny you say that. It was a south wind that carried this cooler weather here. Back up to 80’s tomorrow so this is on its way somewhere new.
