I am happy but it sure is hard to think where all the time has gone. Then I always think I could have done things better and handled things differently.

I know people whose 30th birthday was hard, 40th and 50th. To me birthdays are just another day, get on with life and live it.


Each year when we celebrate our kids birthdays and each year they get more independent. That's when I take a step back and say "dang" time flys..

FWIW, I wrestle with the same concerns. My oldest daughter is 21 also. She was home for spring break last week. She just headed back to college today.

Mine is only 8 and I try to check my temper, lead by example, instill a few morals, and teach him right. I'm good if I get one right a day.
