I didn't really sleep. Taking care of newborn and wife. At doctor already. Nothing serious. Got my nephews 18th birthday party to go to with 5 of my kids later. I'm taking a day or two off for work this week for sure.

Got enough snow melted to be out and start cleaning up the yard.
God I hate raking and picking up dog poo.

Everything will smooth out after you run the mower over the yard a time or two:D

Did I ever mention how much I hate yard work?

So I'm at my sisters house for a party. Usually, by the end of the night, someone gets naked at her parties. Well it was my 3 year old this time. He literally ripped off his clothes down to underwear 10 minutes into us being there. He's still this way 1.5hrs later.

Do any of you guys clean your handguns in a USC?

I have a Springfield SC that I carry a lot. And I hate having lint down in the trigger group. " it's a pain to take down"

What would not damage the plastic?

Nope, thats how I clean my handguns and any other gun parts that fit in the USC.

I use Hornadys USC cleaning solution.

Thanks Ross, Sunday is always gun cleaning day.
I'll have to stop and get some.

I should clean my guns.....

I am very very bad at that.... I bet its been 2 years since I've done anything to my G23, she's pretty grungy but it keeps on ticking flawlessly. My carbine is the same way, she's a disaster, I just keep it wet and it keeps ticking away with no troubles. I guess I fall into the run em like you stole em crowd.

My 308 and my precision AR gets a little more attention. Once groups start to open up on those two then I will go through my cleaning regiment on the bore.

Yep.

That's the thing: whatever you get them used to, that's what they expect.

Very Similar to Vitches.

I'm just the opposite. I clean everything religiously and maybe a little too much but thats the way I'm programed.

To me my guns are tools. They get used, they get scratched, dropped, dirty etc. I dont let them get to where there is a reliability issue by any means though.
As Heath said, its whatever you and your weapon are used to. With my precision rifle's, I would be royally screwed if I took the time and cleaned every bit of fouling out of the barrel. If I did that all I'd be doing is throwing lead down range until my barrel got properly built up with copper in the lands and grooves. I have a specific regiment on those rifles that I do not deviate from. After cleaning I know exactly where that bullet will land.

When it comes to my saws I have the same outlook. They are tools and meant to get used and dirty, I am by no means a PSP.
