Here is a 50mm Mahle. Looks to be OK, no scoring, galling or aluminum transfer. No piston though, but I am thinking that a 266 or 268 should be just fine. I like the Meteor myself.
It's on my tool bag, so I don't forget it.

Almost anybody can do what I've done. But almost nobody has a 625/670 intake block lol

I appreciate the kind words just the same though

Looks like I'm putting my spiny thingy back in the 272 jug. I took another .020 off the base and out of the chamber tonight and rechecked the port timing.
I'm currently sitting at 80/122.5/105.
I can live with 80 on the intake. I want the transfers at 121-120 and the exhaust at 102. Guess this is my job for tomorrow evening.

The AM jug on mine only had 12° blowdown. I raised The exhaust a few to get 16 or 17°. I never did cut the base or squish yet. Could probably take .050 off and would be a better runner. Its a back-up cylinder now anyway when i put the 670 from Steve on it

Since the time I took off I have lost respect for a few on this site and it's getting to the point where I don't care if I'm on this site or not
Seems like only a few are allowed to do what they want without being criticized
Not sure exactly how long I'll actually want to be a part of this site

I took up for a friend when he was called stupid and the guy that did it annoys the *f-word out of me and quite a few others
He won't shut up or drop anything and pissed me off last night I'll not be around much longer on this site
