Aluminum or plastic in the 2.25" to 2.50" range

think I can get by with as little as 9" or so I think.
Aluminum is best for cutting squish with. I used some plastic and some aluminum to cut bases. Wood mostly for sanding. 8-9" is best in the smaller lathes.

Me too. Got most of the crate put together til I can get the lathe on it and secure it. Going to need a couple strong back, weak minds. Got to go buy beer and see if I can bribe some:borra2:

Picked up a 1 owner 046 yesterday, pretty clean saw, he only used it sparingly, for firewood. Had not been use in years. It came with a 25" bar, and a few loops of chain, and some other misc saw related bull chit...

I didn't really need it, but it was calling my name...
