We are talking about taking a trip to Outerbanks and I'd like to visit Jimmy and Termitebuffet too while we are out there.



We rented a cabin on the back side of Gatlinburg not far from Dollywood. After that trip I understood why things shut down if they get 1/4" of snow. We had directions to the cabin and I found out why they recommended to take something with 4wd. Some of the roads looked to be heading up at what looked to be a 45* angle.

We went to the Timbersports show. It was a good show.

You can get pretty chitfaced doing moonshine tastings in town. (Or on the stuff they consider moonshine)

We ended up doing a lot of hiking in the smokey mountains on the Appalachian Tail. I actually didn't care much for Gatlinburg, way to busy and touristy. We spent most of our time in the mountains.

Yeah, like you, I'm not into the "touristy" shìt. I'd hike around for awhile and be pretty happy. Maybe kick back with a cold toddy or 3.
Last time I went to Mackinac island we were the minority. Never seen so many rude people all together acting like each other. We gtfo. I'll never go back

When the Cobia, Kings, Spanish Mackerel get to running, you can smoke their asses the right times of the year in the Outerbanks.

I'm not up on fishing unless I can shoot em:D. Something tells me that's frowned upon....

@Jimmy in NC was telling me about the place, it sounds like a lot of fun. Turns out it's been one of those places where Lisa has always wanted to go.

It'd be a long ass drive in the Jeep but I'd like to do some wheeling down there.
