That's not too far from me. Maybe 90 minutes.

That's good to know, if you are in town when we go I'll try to pop in.

We are talking about taking a trip to Outerbanks and I'd like to visit Jimmy and Termitebuffet too while we are out there.

Rented a bigass cabin, couple dinner shows, little vaca

We rented a cabin on the back side of Gatlinburg not far from Dollywood. After that trip I understood why things shut down if they get 1/4" of snow. We had directions to the cabin and I found out why they recommended to take something with 4wd. Some of the roads looked to be heading up at what looked to be a 45* angle.

We went to the Timbersports show. It was a good show.

You can get pretty chitfaced doing moonshine tastings in town. (Or on the stuff they consider moonshine)

We ended up doing a lot of hiking in the smokey mountains on the Appalachian Tail. I actually didn't care much for Gatlinburg, way to busy and touristy. We spent most of our time in the mountains.

Crazy good fishing in the Outerbanks Ross. When I lived in New Bern, NC back in my Cherry Point Marine Corps days in the 80's, we'd get some folks together and do some crazy ass fishing. When the Cobia, Kings, Spanish Mackerel get to running, you can smoke their asses the right times of the year in the Outerbanks.
