Take the chain you're most comfortable with your flat fee right now, lets just say it's $10.00 for a 20 inch bar chain. That would be 50 cents per bar inch so a 16 inch would be 8 dollars, a 24 inch 12 dollars and so on. Need to do rakers, add half as much again or 25 cents per bar inch for a total of 75 cents per bar inch. It's easy and fair to both party's involved.(I think):confused:

Thanks buddy, I was just jerkin ya around. That is exactly why I asked the question,and thank you for the reply, I just fool around with saws for a hobby and a little side money, I really didn't have any clue, but now I do :thumbsup:

The stoves have been eating alot wood lately got some snow on the way.All the neighbors are blowing the white smoke out the pipe mines gray and only for a little while then none even when closed tight .I had one tell me that burning green wood is better. Idiots better for what anyones health that has to breath that chit in.By not burning seasoned wood thats ready your just asking for trouble if its not in a OWB.
Seen that thick white smoke coming from a neighborhood house. I was splitting some logs.
Then the fire trucks and police showed up.
Guess they was burning some of "next seasons"
wood...
