Feller's I got a question to whomever wants to answer it. When sharpening a customer chain do you charge one set price,or per tooth,or the amount of time spent to get it ready to cut? Just wondering, iv'e always charged $10 regardless of size tooth, no. of teeth or condition, am I to cheap or is that a fair charge? Thanks.

The weather is nice and a extra hour of daylight so I went for it. I love me some hamburgers, I could almost do it every day of the week.
I know exactly what you mean. Chase them burgs down with a couple of brews and I'd be one happy SOB.

I did 28 chains today. 6 were square and were for a trade. The other 22 were free, all round and all had to have the depth guages set.
One day, I'm gonna get paid for my services.
Dall just said you charge by the driver, you say you do it for free, are you trying to make me feel guilty? LOL.

By the drive link was too much math for me, so I came up with my own goofy way to do it. XX amount of cents per inch of bar length, half or X amount of cents per inch of bar length for rakers, another X amount for a gullet clean up. Was simple and I could quote to someone from my head.
