Morning guys, the coffee is having little affect this AM. At least the nasty wind died down finally, only minor outages here, some though are still without power and it's in the low teens.

A few years back I lost power in the winter. It wasn't a good feeling when my wood furnace was burning hot, no power and I had my generator in a out building.

It took a half hour to dig the generator out and then get it fired up.

My wood furnace was really really hot by the time I finally got power to it.


From that day on I keep my generator in my heated garage and I try to remember to start it about once a month.

I have had the same thing happen. Momma was home alone and lost power. I told her to just close the draft tight and wait it out!

Doin alright this morn Dallas. Any of you fellas have any experience swapping out the 4l60e auto trac transfer case with just a lever case?

I need to rebuild the case in my burb but I have an np205 drivers drop here. Ive heard the 4l60e is tied to the puter and you cant just swap it out without a new puter or a flash?
