pulled the muffler off the saw and that looked fine and found 2 pounds of muck after pulling the recoil.
spark plug was nasty and it was pretty bad inside the carb box.

A clogged up filter will cause it to run pig rich which will cause that. You did damn good on that saw.

I have been using Red Armor. Someone at my GTG gave me a quart of Mobil 1 that I need to try at some point

I just stocked up on red armor two six packs here is just two dollars more than one six pack of stihl ultra bridgeport equipment shipped it to my store from one in ohio and it says 17.88 but they charged me 12.95 per six pack i likes the armor lol
