Gentlemen, I appreciate all the kind words/wishes for my Navy son and his crewmates, and a big hand salute to all who are serving...I conveyed the same to him. We talked for maybe 15 mins. He's doing well, says that aircraft carrier flight deck is a MF'r, lol...about 6-8 hrs sleep at best at times and back launching and recovering aircraft for 16-18 hrs.
He was able to talk to his mother and sister for about 20-30 mins each prior to calling me...I always tell him to spend most of his talking time they're allowed with them prior to calling me.
