I must be missing something excuse my ignorance but are you welding into a mould so to speak and then pulling it out and then machining it to requirements. I could be way off here sorry again.

Not liking today, getting ready to go work outside all day, and it's not really warm enough for my sick lungs to take. Was outside for an hour blowing snow yesterday and went into spasm. Glad to have work, just hope I make it through the day is all. I'll try to cover my face to keep my breath warm, I need that money for more saw parts!!! Lol

The press frame is broke/ and a design change. So all that is getting welded up.

Then we will re machine everything, they assemble it, and start making parts again. Sometime 2018.

Think of it as a single cylinder engine that threw the crank out.. But the block weighs 138 metric tons... And will take 6300 kg of 3mm welding wire to fill it up.
