The press frame is broke/ and a design change. So all that is getting welded up.

Then we will re machine everything, they assemble it, and start making parts again. Sometime 2018.

Think of it as a single cylinder engine that threw the crank out.. But the block weighs 138 metric tons... And will take 6300 kg of 3mm welding wire to fill it up.

45 total days of welding so far

Last one was 58, hopefully we can beat that.

Likely have a baby press (1300 ton) to weld up after this. That shold only take a couple weeks.

2-3 hr per 50lbs is bout as fast as you can go. 200 lbs per 12 hr shift is hard to do unless you set up just right.
