461 and 7910 are pretty well even as work saws. When you start swapping carbs and other things on a 7910 they pull ahead. I've built several real close to it. I think his is just well broken in helps.

Just got a gap to fill. I go from 562 to 064. I've ran three ported 7900s and only one ported 461. All 3 dolmars were very solid, the 461 was built by Snelling and I wasn't a big fan of his work. All bark. ..no bite

I think @PAdan tried taping off some plastic when he dyed some of his saws parts. Iirc the dye leached through and he ended up dying the whole thing
