My days as a modder are on hold for a bit, had a little accident with the Stanley knife splitting plastic pieces, and got a nice cut on my index finger along the finger, ended up in the ER and needed stitches.

Now that I was lucky and avoided serious injuries, I think my knife technique needs to change a bit! 🤔 (or not holding the parts being cut with my fingers)……
Every scar is a lesson!

If I'm going to keep the 10 I have, I should probably think differently than today's stunt.
I don't know why I didn't use the little table vise I have to hold the plastic, maybe it's because I'm almost 60 and have stopped using my little brain.
If anything good is to be said, it didn't take more than an hour at the doctor's and sewing, and that I got the tetanus shot topped up lol

The plan for this day was actually to chamber 2 jugs I'm working on, it probably won't be for another week though

Good afternoon guys. Tonight is 410 sprint car races with @JoeDirt . Also was in Costco today with the wife. I saw this and instantly thought cigar humidor. She said I'm a moron. I don't think she sees the big picture. View attachment 469593
Red is not completely wrong, how many years of OT would it take to fill/ keep filled…

They say a scar is a tattoo with a better story.

My most recent razor knife wound was from cutting a zip tie. I have since then discovered that smart people use wire cutters. As I told the ER receptionist, "I'll see you next time I do something stupid!"
