Why are there no Stilleto lovers here? Does no one swing a titanium hammer?
I swung a TiBone for years until…….i bought a Martinez M1….then a M4……then the big M79 head….then the 7oz Ti head. Add in a square and pry bar, and I was $500 in on frigging hammers. Then prices went sky high and he sold the company. Does my $250 ($350 now) drive nails any better than an Estwing, NO. Does it let me swing and drive 60d pole barn spikes all day, yep.

They are now using torque to yield bolts in the transmissions with ridiculously low torque specs so I was forced to get a digital inch pound with angle capability to match my 1/2" ft lb wrench. I traded in my click type inch pound and 1/2" click wrench on it.
I got my husky digital one on sale just to see what digital is all about. I’ve use the torque angle function on it quite a bit for heads now. Still hasn’t failed, and cost me $90. It’s got the same computer and buttons on it as my buddy’s snap on.

Is this the new hammer donkey thread?
I guess I'll have to take some hammer pics now. No framers though. I have my grandpa's old bluegrass, at least 75 years old. I have dad's old bluegrass. I have an estwing and a couple Stanleys.

I'm such a slacker. I don't even own a torque wrench.
I have one at work that came with some machines we installed. I used it during installation but haven't used it since. I've worked on textile equipment for over 40 years, I pretty much know what needs to be tight and what needs to be snug. I have one at home that i use very little. Last time I used it was building an AR. I rarely work on vehicles anymore.
