Good morning. Cats and chickens are fed and I've evicted the broody hen from the nest so she'll go eat. I don't speak chicken very well, but I'm pretty sure she was cussing me out.

We lost a hen 2 weeks ago in the heat. She was broody and refused to leave the nesting box to eat or drink. She cussed me out regularly for putting her out in the run... Didn't force it the one day and that was the end of her.

So did the first oil change on the new Harley. Come to find out their most expensive bike has plastic drain plugs for the engine and transmission. Expected better from the company. View attachment 466873

Ford has been doing that for years. Lots of GM engines use a plastic pan and drain plug now.

Speaking of scoots, I rolled over 25,000 miles on my clunker on my way to work this morning.

I would probably prefer a metal plug, in my mind it gives better torque than plastic, but plastic development has come a long way though.

This is a $200 Italian mod that has given me nothing but problems, I think I've gotten two weeks out of it, and one year in Italy warranty case, and a week of use after the return.

I put it away for six months to think, and this time I'm do it myself.
Time to find the soldering iron, since I'm putting something else in, and let it be something that works again! Hopefully.

The trailblazer I bought just takes a 3/8 drive extension
It's scary how easy it unlocks like 3/4 turn
And it's a gusher changing oil.

Speaking of moist.. Opened the front door earlier, reached back for the knob and got "Wet Willied" by the outside of the door knob. Even the deadbolt was covered in condensation.
I guess it's time about time to go around and hit all the door locks with the WD-40 can and tube.
