What i need to do:

Cut down three unhealthy and generally weird trees before we get a hurricane.

Organize the tool shed.

Add a window or three to the tool shed. ( do this first. )

57 other repairs to the house and outbuildings.

What I'm doing:

Wishing the weather was cooler.

Looking at ads for running saws that I don't need, and project saws that I don't have time for.

Patting myself on the back for not buying the above.

That's the thing. I already know that you can build an awesome saw. Now I want to find out if I can.

BTW: did you do any port work on the 353/346xp I bought from @Sawdust Man ?

Either way, it runs like a bat out of Hades and embarrasses my beloved 026.

Edited to fix incorrect username because I is dumb.

If it has a Stump Shot Special sticker on it, then it's been ported. The yellow saw shop stickers go on everything that comes out of my shop, ported or not.

Thanks. I just wanted to be 100% sure in the unlikely event that I ever wanted to sell it. Or if my grandson wants to when it's his.

Lord of the wrench just so happens to be a nosy busy body and likes to sift through everyone's things. He stays late just to do it because last time I caught him, I told him the next time I'll smash every one of his fingers with a hammer.

He also likes to half áşş things like a brake inspection and won't actually take the wheel off, he will just shine a flashlight on them.

Because I'm me and because he's a fůćking twãt, I figured I'd provoke him a bit.

I left it in plain sight on a workbench.
He won't say anything, but it still gives me amusement.

You, sir, are a doodyhead. I say this with the deepest respect and admiration.

I'm sitting here wondering if I need to buy an ultrasonic cleaner, mainly for cranks, cylinders, pistons, carburetors, boots, flywheel, generator, etc
I wash the rest as I always have.

4.5 liter, as long as it takes 357, 550, 560 cylinders....... I'd hate to buy one that doesn't take these types of cylinders lol

What's the smallest you guys use?

You could ask Dallas how he prefers to clean cranks
