Hows you and the ball team Wayne?
Yes sir. That 08 Jeep Patriot of my granddaughter's lost power to the heater fan. 10 amp fuse is good.....and plainly not enough amperage to run the fan. I can't figure out where it gets power from. For now we ran another wire to power it. Help?
Whereabout Tim?Have done both this week. First time this year.View attachment 454191

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM CDT
WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
10 inches. Light ice accumulations around a light glaze are also
possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Lincoln, Oneida, Vilas, Florence, and Forest Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
could be very difficult. Blowing snow could reduce visibility at
times. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning
and evening commutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
Do not touch downed lines and report any power outages to your
electric company. Travel is highly discouraged due to slick roadways
and the possibility of downed trees and power lines.

Take a look at the sheets of early flashaboo. Makes for interesting wingsHey Chris love the hackle pliers in the stuff you sent me. Used some of the thread in there to also tie a few Perdigons. Tonight was cicada night at the vise. View attachment 454212

Damn Jeeps....Ok Randy. I have bad news. The power for the blower motor comes directly from the TIPM (under hood fuse box is a computer on most Chrysler of this era). These are know to melt the connector on the bottom of the fues box for both the blower motors and the fuel pumps. I bet if you find the blower supply wire on the TIPM it is overheated as well as the pin on the TIPM. Which is why you have no power. What you did is the more reliable repair. Make sure you have a 40a fues inline as close to the battery as possible to protect your new circuit. Here is a wiring diagram with the pinouts if your curiosity makes you dig in deeper.
