Good morning guys,
my sleep was good, over 7 hours.
I'm going to continue with the chainsaw cleaning today, and I'm also going to list more defective Husky hobby saws for the Norwegian market. There is obviously interest in them, not that I understand why though.
I've never even bothered to try to sell the china saws but my friend who I loan a clone 372 often bought this todayIMG_20240616_105224.jpg
I'd bought a customer return 395 clone and they sent me this
Mistake they said *B-S.... I said
I got it for 100.00 shipped never been ran sold it for 160.00
Might try to sell more.

With us, the big interest is 50cc, certainly twice as many of them as the 40 and 60cc combined.

Now Scandinavia is such a small market that the Chinese don't bother making clones. They've started with look-alike 550s.

I'm both surprised, but at the same time very happy that someone wants hobby saws, gets $60 for something I never understood the point of having in the car home.
Otherwise, it's actually good that someone chooses to recycle and not throw it in the trash.

You might’ve missed some stuff, but @John Wargo didn’t miss the deer.
I am well aware that @John Wargo smoked the deer and all the damage to his bike, the last I read Big Red and nixed any thoughts on a new bike and he was looking for a private to rebuild it after the dealership quote crossed the 5 digit mark.
We’re about to melt down here.
I am glad to be home and on the back side of that heat dome. Was 95f at 11pm on Saturday on my way to my hotel. BTW, the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis needs someone to figure out their AC, could not get the room below 75, a night I expected to be in my own bed was a really $hitty sleep.

I've been told labor rates are 120.00 or more an hour at local repair shops even for diagnostics
I talked to the local metal crusher operator.
He's not allowed to pull anything out any more because people would break in to steal whatever they had set aside.
He used to pull catalytic converters and radiators people would cut the fence to steal them
He sees many chainsaws getting crushed
But can't save them anymore I still get calls to work on stuff but I don't have time
They buy new replacements usually.
