Those are both great choices. I'm a big fan of black label Johnny. And the pledge is a great cigar.

I used to build a lot of houses around golf courses. Just as the sky is lightening up, early in the morning is a great time to put an arrow through one of the deer that overpopulate those places.

I was working early mornings at a closed golf course in town to cut trails in the woods that lined the fairways. That was exactly what the early mornings were like. The property was bordered by a river, railroad tracks and the hood. The deer were in a safe space

I don’t know how chokecherry does for smoking wood, but I noticed how tight the rings are. This tree is 30+ years old but only 2” in diameter.

Pictures have been wonky for about a week or so. I blame Sean because of his username. You can do a small crop and they will post correctly, but as to why, who knows. Will rotate left, right and 180° at times with no rhyme or reason.
