Good morning everybody. My boss picked up more paint gun liners on his way out last night so now I can get some more paint on the car frame. Harbor freights 1.3mm hte gun works really well for the oil based enamel if you thin 15-20% with acetone.

I have 2 not super fast but lots of torque, the old Stihl dealer I used to go to for parts ect and bs with owner said that was one saw Stihl shouldn’t have made a super version of. The standard 041’s biggest downside was the screws liked to loosen up and then pull the threads out of case and the super just amplified this problem a fair amount he said. My advice is use lots of loctite on it, orange high strength removable would be my choice.

Long story short, it was the pulley wheel clutch going bad on my alternator.
I guess I’ve learn how they have changed, And the different sounds my one made when it was startling to fail, squeaking like a dry bearing, and sometimes clonking when I pulled away which was like it was the big ends going bad.

And I also thought it was warn carbon brushes when it intermittently charged and then stopped charging. .

Anyhow it’s fixeded now
