I'm on autopilot when i get off work
10 or 12 hours and a hour commute
4-6am when i get home
So daily i hit the cruise control on the buick lucerne and it's 75mph
Until i hit my exit then it's 200ft to a stop light it was green so i went up my secondary road about 30mph
Then head lights appeared right behind me blinding me so i hammered down and took off.
The suv behind me disappeared for about 5 miles he still didn't catch up with me
But then he hit his lightbar so i pulled over.
He walked up and asked why i was driving so fast
I said some *a-hole was riding my ass with their high beams on and i couldn't see.
He laughed and apologized i said you suck at driving i could've easily outran your explorer in my 1k beater car.
I tried to hand him my license and insurance but he said no man you're good
I was looking for someone in a car like your's
I said i hope you don't have to chase him and he started laughing and said have a good one sir.
I really was doing 80-90mph i was expecting a ticket.

No way you’d outrun that Explorer in a Lucerne.

He was vomiting a lot over the weekend and finally went in Monday morning. We could really use some positive energy from ope for Marc. He’s the reason I’m a member of both entities and there is still a lot I need to learn from him for these groups.

Good morning from icy lower MI. Had to take it a little easy coming in. If you have some extra good thoughts laying around, send them my wife's way. She's presenting to the library of Congress today on audiobook narration. Zoom meetings/panels/conversations aren't new to her, but she's nervous about a full presentation.

Morning gentlemen. 62 headed to almost 70 and storms rolling through. Say a prayer for my daughter this morning. She has had an issue with a toenail since dropping a shot on it last year in track and field. It came off, but the new nail has become ingrown on both sides of her toe. We have tried doing all we can and now we are at the podiatrist to see what they recommend. I fear I know the answer! I’m a man so I don’t mind losing a nail, but to a teenage girl, hopefully they can save the nail so she can keep it painted, lol.

I just got off the phone with Social Security and because the boss and I are both retired and because she makes much more in SS benefits than I do, I found out I am entitled to “Spousal Benefits”

The math worked out for me to get an extra $500 a month on my SS benefits

It basically adjusts the lower persons benefits to equal half of the higher persons benefits without costing the higher paid individual any loss in their benefits

There’s a lot to it, marital status, length of marriage, etc etc but in my case it was certainly worth investigating

If you are retired or contemplating retiring it is something to keep in mind

This is something I'll be looking into for Glenda when I retire. She got bad sick....having 8 to 10 seizures a day. Couldn't work of course. Insisted that she was going back to work rather than applying for disability. By the time I convinced her to apply, her benefits were nearly none existent.

Very little sense in paying taxes if you're not going to receive any entitlements that you're due.
