Good morning from icy lower MI. Had to take it a little easy coming in. If you have some extra good thoughts laying around, send them my wife's way. She's presenting to the library of Congress today on audiobook narration. Zoom meetings/panels/conversations aren't new to her, but she's nervous about a full presentation.

Good morning fellas. High of 25 expected today, and more wind: 20-30 with 40mph gusts again… I’m felling trees down in a pocket of the protected side of the hill, so I’m going to head out and see what it’s like after breakfast before I call it..

Snow storm expected Sat has already been reduced for here. They were calling for 4-7” of snow yesterday, now saying it’s shifting north and we’re on the edge with 1-3” expected.

Morning gentlemen. 62 headed to almost 70 and storms rolling through. Say a prayer for my daughter this morning. She has had an issue with a toenail since dropping a shot on it last year in track and field. It came off, but the new nail has become ingrown on both sides of her toe. We have tried doing all we can and now we are at the podiatrist to see what they recommend. I fear I know the answer! I’m a man so I don’t mind losing a nail, but to a teenage girl, hopefully they can save the nail so she can keep it painted, lol.

I had to try and interview a few folks on zoom a few years ago. You don’t get the connection as you do in person. I’m usually on the listening end during trainings. At least I can turn my camera off and do something else, lol.

Well goons I don’t ask for help much but I’m asking now. Our auxiliary president/SAL second Vice commander is back in the hospital. He’s been battling cancer for close to a year now. He was vomiting a lot over the weekend and finally went in Monday morning. We could really use some positive energy from ope for Marc. He’s the reason I’m a member of both entities and there is still a lot I need to learn from him for these groups.

Are you expecting more this weekend ? We are in a winter storm watch

Sunny both days so far. What we got last night and this morning was just the edge of the system that is moving through the Northeast now. Many areas getting it way worse than us.

I'm in Teams meetings a couple hours a day whether at home or in the office. The wife is probably 4-6 so it never makes sense for her to go to the office. I appreciate that it is better than just a voice call by phone but it never beats an in person.

Good morning. 30°F/ -1°C going up to 39°F/ 4°C. Thin ice coating last night is making it slick. Schools on a 2 hour delay.

A bit Early for overnight thunderstorms, but we had a doozy. Wife has yet to throw out the rain gage as she still expects a freeze again. 66 freedom units to start the day. Back to the job that never ends. Stay safe all.

Yup on the rain guage, forgot to pull mine before the hard freezes a week or so ago...another busted one...Anyone have a good model that holds up to the occasional freezing?
