Dall,
I don't trash talk America, in my opinion, it is the second greatest country in the world. I trash talk a fool that tells lies and hurts the people he is supposed to help. My point remains that American people suffer the consequences of Tariffs through higher pricing. Ski-Doo vs Polaris is one of the best examples available as you actually have a domestic manufacturer to compare too. The pricing of Polaris will increase some due to increased tariffs on imported components they use, Ski-Doo prices will increase dramatically as the goods are wholly manufactured outside the US.
We do have a store and warehouse in the US, I am not sure why you think not. We do however buy within America and sell within America. We don't as a habit do any import/export between our stores.
You can't buy geography and there is no where in Canada that has weather like Texas or Arizona. I don't see anyone down there complaining about the 10's of thousands of Canadians that over winter there supporting their economy and helping it grow.
If your reference to Castro was a nickname for our current PM, he isn't my favourite choice either.
I am most sad that both our countries that have been each others greatest trade partners and best friends can't get along better without getting to the point where the are leveling threats at each other that only result in hurting the populations in each country.
If you don't believe that Canada and US are friends and have always had each other's backs I invite you to watch a film called Come From Away, a simple example of how a small Canadian town came to the rescue of 100's of Americans whose flights were diverted and couldn't land in their own country on September 11th.
