I don’t have a passport, but with my Enhanced Drivers License, I am supposed to be able to cross the Canadian border and back without any other paperwork. I haven’t tried it yet, but some friends from town here have gone bear hunting and crossed the border with just the EDL.

We have the same thing. I had to have 3 ways to prove who i was and prove i was a citizen when i went to renew before i could get it the first time.

They just gave me my ID.

I pass those mfers doing 5-10 over the posted limit or whatever the traffic around me is doing.
They don't give two squirts of beaver piss how fast you are going down here, as long as you arent going WAY faster than the normal flow of traffic and weaving in and out of lanes like the stupid ones here do.
Just keep up and don't be stupid keeps traffic moving.
If you need to go slower, just stay as far right as you can, that includes the shoulder...

I also had to provide multiple proofs of identity when I applied for mine. I’ve had mine a few years as well. I figured if it would allow me to head north, and back in, that would be satisfactory if I ever wanted to go hunting up there.
