Anything so far Ed? Heading out later today, they seem to be active 3-6.

I saw 1 deer last Saturday morning, 1 Saturday evening..
Worked Monday and Tuesday.
Saw nothing Wed, 4 Thursday, 4 Friday, nothing yesterday.
Even bow hunting this year I only saw 3 deer in the afternoon/evening..
I did take the 1st doe, so it's not a washout. On Friday, there were 3 together. I had an opportunity but waited because the others were in the trees yet.. then it was either behind a tree, hill, brush or another deer and I didn't have a decent shot.
I did also get a doe with the bow.
The numbers I've seen this year are way down, everything seems to be moving at night.

Finally cooling off here. Been seeing them pretty regularly. I am not specifically hunting bucks, but will take one if the opportunity comes. Just want some more protein in the freezer. We still have quite a bit of time. Another whole month plus. So no rush. Good luck, and congrats on the ones already.

Out first drive yesterday normally gets at least a dozen-15 deer running past me and the other standers, and no one saw a deer.. The party did end up with a doe and an 8pt on the next drive though. 2 more drives planned today. Have a good Sunday fellas.
