I went to see my mother out law first. It was really depressing. Ive known her 25 years and she did not recognize me. She had no clue about the neck brace on her. She gets to go home Tuesday. She has to wear the brace 2 more weeks. What I worry about is she has been in rehab for a month. Will she recognize her husband and home? Please send positive thoughts for her. Her name is Renee. The birthday party for Arty was a good change. It is good to see new life growing and learning. He had a blast just kicking a soccer ball around. The smile and laughter is contagious. I graduated from high school in 2016 and now that I'm back in school with kids that are 5-6 years younger than me, I can confirm the slang has completely changed and I generally don't know if I'm being complimented or insulted.

I think the Alzheimers/dementia spectrum is absolutely the worst thing that can happen to loved ones and my prayers go out to you
