That not slappin’ bruh
Me and yourself are from the “yolo” generation lol. “Swag” etc
Chill fam... chill.
That’s good. Makes the kids tough. We used to go to school until it was well below zero as well. Only 1 time did we get school cancelled for cold - i was in elementary school. And since we didn’t have school, we all went outside and played in the snow anyway. The first winter we were out in the bush in Bethel Alaska we had a storm come off the Bering sea, actual temps dropped in the 40 below range, and the airport recorded wind chills of 104 below zero
They changed the formula for computing wind chill a few years later but in anybody's book, that was COLD
When I worked at the school there the kids had to play outside until it hit either 20 below actual or wind chill and they didn't cancel school until it hit 70 below windchill
But it's a "dry cold"![]()
Since the whole "distance learning" thing came about with Covid it seems way more likely that they will cancel school up hereThat’s good. Makes the kids tough. These days if it snows 2 inches it seems like they call it off![]()
I guess I better watch my language from now on, I wasn't aware there were children in the room...
2014 would have been my 41st class reunion if there were such a thing
This year was my 50th and I couldn't stand 99% of the idiots then and didn't give it a thought until my wife relayed something about it off FacebookMy Dad's would of went to his 63rd class reunion last summer, but there was not enough of the class left to have one.
They should have watched some of those videos first. You'd have ended up a Charity Figurehead for the Criminally Boring.
This is one of my favorites. No markings at all. Has a heat ring. No notches, so not unmarked Lodge.Cast iron is the only way. I rarely use anything else.

Meh
Could I borrow that, I gotta make 2 recipes of cornbread for the crammin (stuffing) on Thursday and my cast iron is still in storage somewhereThis is one of my favorites. No markings at all. Has a heat ring. No notches, so not unmarked Lodge.
Just has a good finish.
Used to be somebodys cornbread pan.
Can still see the marks where they cut the cornbread in the pan.
If you have a well seasoned skillet cornbread will just fall out when you turn it over, so not sure why they did that.

I move to Pinetop Lakeside in 95. Renee's family settled the area in the late 1800's. Her madain name is Jackson. And her husband Terry is a Penrod. I'm down in Safford now. Thank you!I think the Alzheimers/dementia spectrum is absolutely the worst thing that can happen to loved ones and my prayers go out to you
Hang in there
Where in AZ you located?
We lived in Pinetop-Lakeside in 92-94 as well as at Luke AFB for a summer when the boss did a TDY there
