The new kid we hired isn't gonna last, I kinda lost my cool today when I got back from dumping our last load of logs and he was petting the horses and looking at his phone and we still had a ton of clean up and nothing was even ready to be put away.

I worked with a guy in North Carolina that was a third generation carpenter. He said it takes about 15 minutes to figure out if a person has what it takes. Over the years, I realized that he was right. Laziness is nothing new.

We sold our home in Hawaii just over a year ago for several reasons and had a house built in Palmer Alaska

I have friends that lost everything in the fires but as of now I don’t know anyone who lost their life

Insurance adjuster is coming today to assess the damage from the golf ball hail a couple/few weeks ago - they’ve been pretty busy as you can probably expect, in our area.
