I'm gonna sharpen a mower blade for the first time in my life this morning...I know..funny.

I always threw them away and bought a new one.

Any suggestions ?
Not too sharp, just give them a nice bevel. 45 degrees is fine and will stay sharp longer than 30 degrees. Don't heat the blade to color change. I would use a course file myself.

I wasn't gonna use a stone, just an abrasive wheel...does that work ?
Yes. I also sharpen mine with my 90* die grinder and an abrasive pad. As the others have said, mimic the original angle, not too much pressure/heat. I always grind so that the abrasive is cutting toward the blade, not away from it. Hang it on a nail to check balance, adjust as necessary.

That works..thanks.

It’s MegaSlut radiator time…out with the old, flush the block and in with the new. And while I'm at it new upper/lower radiator hoses, 203 deg t-stat as well. And new Mopar cooling juice of course…

Bust all the glass out and let it rain in it for a couple days to add weight
and throw another dodge in the bed of it
To add to the scrap value
Of course pull the catalytic converters and radiator
The fuel tank we cut them in half here and the scrapyard will take them.
