Lanolin as in Fluid Film?Axle in, springs in, wheels on. All torqued. Stinks like a lonely sheep herders hands from all the lanolin but it'll go a few more seasons now.
Everyone else done yet?
Lanolin as in Fluid Film?
You called it. Our salted roads here are hell on everything. Fluid Film is a lanolin based lube and protectant it I use it all the time.![]()

Don't know Fluid Film but if it's sheep wool grease based then yep mate. Used some type of lanolin for ever. We don't salt the roads, just the sea.

Is it steamed, smoked or roasted Timoti? Or all three?Good morning lubers of the axle shaft. Almost time to unwrap the porky presents. Serving a crowd, but also doing a test run of the cochinita I want to cook in the ground at @huskihl 's in September.View attachment 380212
The leaves I sourced had some cuts and what not, so probably mostly smoked and slightly steamed. Is it steamed, smoked or roasted Timoti? Or all three?
Sounds a bit like a hangi. Yum.The leaves I sourced had some cuts and what not, so probably mostly smoked and slightly steamed.
A Mayan pib is pretty much exactly like a hangi. Except I'm sure we'll class it up with some cement blocks instead of rocks and some old rusty barn steel over top.Sounds a bit like a hangi. Yum.
