Took a internet holiday. Back at the dr for more tests. It is becoming a problem for doctors to figure out problems these days. I wonder if it is the insurance companies tying their hands or something far more sinister. Have a good one.

I had a tick borne illness several years ago. I went to 5 different doctors and had a stress test before a country doc decided to test for Lymes.

During that process I found out that I had Hepatitis C. I'd probably had it since I was a kid. I'd only had blood once....when I cut my foot real bad. My liver enzymes were off the chart. I also had something akin to Lymes. It took two years of chemo drugs to kill the virus. That was about 15 years ago....and I'm pretty much back to whatever normal is.

Since I first went to dr in Feb I have been through a lot of tests and then retest
It’s like they want everyone to get their hands on the insurance money
Probably been hooked up to 5 or 6 ekg machines
Had a couple echocardiograms
Had blood drawn 5 times

Seems my place got hit by the fire today, unsure of how bad the damage is to structure or if it’s still standing. Now a new out of control fire couple miles from where I evacuated to.

Has been a ban of all activity’s in the woods, hiking, forestry etc, you are not allowed out in the woods due to the resources spread so thin. Yesterday evening there were calls in for 6 illegal burns in the area, how the fk someone can light a illegal fire after everything, I don’t know

Doing summer work right now. Maintenance crew at a local high school. Spent today taking down a few dead trees, cutting hedges and pulling weeds.

So sorry to hear this. A friend of mine lost a building that houses his office in the Hammond Plains fire. All staff are safe and working from home but about $1,000,000 of product gone. Thankfully it is insured and they have good work contingency plans left over from the pandemic so everyone will be able to keep working (as long as they are safe in their homes)

Some years back one of my neighbors started a fire with his weed wacker, it burned a few thousand acres, and several houses & barns. There was a burn ban warning at the time, it said no outdoor power equipment, mowers, chainsaws, weed wackers, fireworks, outdoor grills, etc, on the radio they even strongly urged people not to smoke cigs outside.

At that time it had not rained in almost 4 months, everything was really dry.

I know my neighbor was in hot water, but don't remember the details of the legal side effects they went after him for. But that fire got within a few hundred feet of my house, before they got it under control. We were in a motel for 3 days, before they let us back up on the mountain.

Hopefully up there they go after those responsible for this fire, and they are held fully accountable.

The hoard of *s-wordt I scored was fo’ real from that gal a good while back when her dad passed away. Still got God knows what BNIB of Milwaukee M12 and M18 hand tools, DeWalt 20V Max/60V Max hand tools, and Makita 18V LXT hand tools...miter saws, circular saws, routers, 4 1/2-5“ grinders, straight/right angle die grinders, 1/2” hammer drills/1/2” drills, impact drills/screw guns, impact guns, etc, etc. Lol

Just get the old bish off the road and away from folks like my grand daddy.
He woulda put her in a cage, hosed her down for a week and fed her, then dressed and ate her.
Trust me, you dont want her to bite you.
They dont let go, and will take a LARGE chunk of skin/meat/bone with them.
She's definitely OLD.
They can live well over 100 years.
Just trying to get back to where she was born to lay eggs.

I might add that ive helped my "paw paw" clean several.
People used to bring them to him when they found them crossing the roads, or caught them in fish baskets.
He was always respectful and humane with them, but they were food to him.
I can say from experience that they are DELICIOUS.
Fried or put into hash.
Very "clean" meat.
