Got some bad news today. My grandfather suddenly started having trouble breathing yesterday so my aunt took him to the hospital. They said he had some mild pneumonia but they weren't sure why so they transferred him to another hospital. They ran some tests this morning and it turns out he has leukemia. It's aggressive and fairly advanced. The prognosis isn't good but with some mild treatment he may have another 6 months or so. He's not in any pain but it was a sudden and unexpected diagnosis. Sucks.
