Got some bad news today. My grandfather suddenly started having trouble breathing yesterday so my aunt took him to the hospital. They said he had some mild pneumonia but they weren't sure why so they transferred him to another hospital. They ran some tests this morning and it turns out he has leukemia. It's aggressive and fairly advanced. The prognosis isn't good but with some mild treatment he may have another 6 months or so. He's not in any pain but it was a sudden and unexpected diagnosis. Sucks.

He was 32.
So that kinda sucked, but its different for everyone.
Leukemia is a blood cancer. It affects the whole body.
Just gonna send some prayers up Norf bud.

Dont let the "health guessers" make him suffer more than he has to.

Thanks guys. It was very unexpected for sure. I'm curious if it might've been caused by exposure, or genetics or just luck of the draw. He's 89 so it's hard to say. He's not in any pain and he's open to trying whatever treatment he can tolerate but it likely is terminal. Prayers are always appreciated.
