Nice! There was always a part of me that wanted a fox body and to build a mock-boss 302 for it.
The 327 I built is a mutt - 350 block with a cast 307 crankshaft, pink rods, and forged pistons. It’s .060” over, so around 336 C.I. Also I machined some 882 truck heads for it - decked ‘em, 5 angle valve job, and larger valves. It was a runner. Built it for a buddies B-Mod dirt car. Got it back after I built him a 355. Had it up to 7,100 on the dyno - it was painted yellow and black and we named it the Nuclear Banana.
Also Keep in mind that in these videos, this engine was using a stock cast iron intake manifold and a 2bbl 500cfm carb… Oh, and conventional rocker arms!
